An open FBI investigation stemming from what has been described as a “cyber criminal event.” There has been little to no transparency on this matter raising serious concerns about accountability and public awareness. We believe the culprit was a local actor and data stolen is data necessary to request a VBM ballot.
Three active investigations are examining alleged vote-by-mail irregularities, including individuals detained with ballots, altered election reports, and questionable ballots in Hillsborough County. The limited public updates and slow pace have prompted concerns about the handling and transparency of these cases.
There is growing concern that VBM fraud is widespread, with reports suggesting involvement from individuals across the political spectrum. Additionally, there have been indications that discussions around election integrity are being discouraged at higher levels of leadership, we have been warned to stop discussing.
Since 2021, over 130,000 ineligible or “ghost” voters have been removed from Hillsborough County voter rolls, representing more than 15% of the county’s total registered voters. While recent state efforts have addressed part of the issue, this underscores the extent of prior inaccuracies. Based on outcomes, many of these “voters” cast votes in the 2020 general election in which President Trump was cheated.
